The Sunnyside development consists of eight three-bedroom units and nine two-bedroom units. The site features a children’s play area and a resident community building with a kitchen. Sunnyside apartments are available to families that make 50 percent or less of the median income for Boulder County.
All units include a full kitchen, porches and private back patios, laundry hookups and on-site parking.
18,500 square feet of solid maple flooring recovered from a former Lowry Air Force gym was used in the Sunnyside homes.
One two-bedroom unit, was specially designed for wheelchair use. A wheelchair ramp, open living-dining room area with a vaulted ceiling and wide doorways on the bath and master make this unit wheelchair accessible.
