| Sotokoto is a Japanese "LOHAS" (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) magazine focusing on slow food, slow life and eco-tourism. First published in 1999, Sotokoto asserts that LOHAS is good for human beings and the environment, and is more comfortable, joyful and sustainable. The targeted readers of Sotokoto are people who aim at LOHAS and the “cultural creative”. Most readers reside in metropolitan areas while respecting the good aspects of traditional culture and at the same time looking for the modern lifestyle of health and sustainability.
